DELIVERABLES
Please browse the deliverables catalogue to find more details about the possible deliverables. These deliverables can be created within preFEED,FEED, and/or concept design stage of your project management lifecycle. In all studies we document compliance to international standards, guidelines and/or any other project requirement if applicable.

VESSEL HYDRODYNAMICS
Knowledge about wave induced loads and motions of ships and offshore structures is important both in design and operational studies. Offshore vessel assets are often deployed in harsh weather conditions that cause uncertainty in design and operational decision making.
The vessel hydrodynamics deliverables are part of the mooring, transport & installation analysis, but can also be carried out as a separate deliverable within your project for further assessment.
- The following modelling can be done:
- Vessel 3D mesh generation. This involves converting vessel body lines into a 3D shape.
- Vessel Hydrodynamic database creation based on linear diffraction calculation(s) for a range of water depths, vessel headings, vessel speeds and loading conditions. Databases consist of radiation forces (added mass/damping),hydrostatic (spring) restoring forces, wave transfer functions and second order wave drift forces.
- The following seakeeping and wave load problems can be evaluated:
- Absolute and relative motions, velocities, accelerations
- Effect of local wave loads, including slamming
- Wave bending moments and shear forces
- Greenwater analysis (water on deck)
- The following additional support can be done:
- Data processing and conversion between different formats of various hydrodynamic programs.
