NAVAL ARCHITECTURE

We offer the following scope of work and services:

Generation of and conversion between different mesh and hydrodynamic database formats for vessel hydrodynamic studies as part of assistance.
Performing vessel hydrodynamic studies (seakeeping & wave load analysis). This includes mainly (but is not limited to):
- Determine weather windows and/or calculate downtime within expected sea states.
- Give a quantitative indication on what type of work can be expected to be carried out for different sea states by evaluating roll angles, accelerations and/or heading restrictions.
- Evaluate if and when overhanging cargo is occasionally submerged (slamming).
- In addition to operability, limiting criteria passenger comfort can be evaluated with respect to motion sickness indicators.
Performing resistance & propulsion studies (e.g. bollard pull).
Performing vessel stability calculations, including intact and/or damaged case analysis.
